First blog post

Woo Hoo! The words exclaimed by every neophyte who thinks he (or she) has something PROFOUND to tell the world (or the 9.3 people who will read this). This is my first prolific spouting into the blogosphere. Will future generations read this? Given the rate of mass storage growth, it should at least be available. Pity the poor future AI who is tasked with categorizing this drivel! Pity me when I rediscover this time capsule thirty years from now. Am I pithy? You may never know (but may guess correctly!) In my defense, my mind was filled with information supplied by SBC Yahoo! just prior to my creating this weblog. "Turn the Dead into Diamonds?" cries the "news" headline. See what I have to work with here? Luckily (for my readers) I listen regularly to KQED radio. I hope that helps to elevate the level of material I have to write about (danged old public radio, I never got my tote bag!) Time to ship this to the server, bye bye! Until I return,
